The 1st BonePainIII Annual Meeting took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 26–28 March 2025 at the Nordic Bioscience and University of Copenhagen (UCPH). The meeting brought together PhD students, principal investigators (PIs), and partners from across the BonePainIII network to discuss research progress and strengthen collaboration within the consortium.
During the three-day meeting, the doctoral students presented their research projects and received feedback from supervisors and fellow researchers. These presentations encouraged scientific discussion and provided an opportunity for the students to exchange ideas and learn about the different research approaches within the network.

As part of the program, the doctoral students also visited Nordic Bioscience, where they learned about the development and application of biomarkers in biomedical research. The visit offered valuable insight into industry-based research and highlighted how biomarkers can be used to better understand and monitor bone-related diseases.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange, training, and networking, further strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing within the BonePainIII consortium.
