The BonePainIII network officially launched with a Kick-Off Meeting in Utrecht, Netherlands, from 25–27 September 2024, bringing together PhD students, principal investigators (PIs), and project partners.

During the three-day meeting, the newly recruited PhD students met each other for the first time and were introduced to the supervisors and principal investigators involved in the BonePainIII network. The meeting provided an opportunity to present the goals of the project, discuss the planned research activities, and establish collaborations within the consortium.

         

In addition to the scientific sessions, the program included an outdoor team-building activity that allowed the students to get to know each other in a more informal setting. The activity helped foster connections within the cohort and encouraged collaboration among the early-stage researchers.

       

The Kick-Off Meeting marked an exciting start for the BonePainIII network, setting the stage for the collaborative research and training activities that will take place in the future.
