Three doctoral students from the BonePainIII network participated in the Culture Night in Copenhagen on 11 October 2024, from 18:00 to 00:00. Culture Night is a large annual public outreach event during which museums, universities, theatres, and many other public and private institutions across Copenhagen open their doors to visitors.
At the pain booth at the Panum building, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, visitors had the opportunity to hear, see, and feel how researchers study pain. Through interactive demonstrations, guests could explore how pain research is conducted and learn more about the science behind pain perception.
The pain booth proved to be very popular among visitors to the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences during Culture Night. Around 300 visitors participated in the activities and experiments at the booth, highlighting the strong public interest in biomedical research and pain science.
