BonePainII PhD student wins price for the best oral presentation

A BonePainII PhD student, Chelsea Hopkins, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, won the prize for the best oral presentation at the In Vivo Pharmacology Annual Meeting in 2022. It is organized by the Graduate School of the Department of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, every year, allowing participating students to present their research projects. The meeting was held on 6-7 October 2022. 

Chelsea Hopkins and Khaled Muhamed, PhD student at Nordic Bioscience A/S, both attended the In Vivo Pharmacology Annual Meeting and conducted oral presentations on their projects, respectively titled “Characterisation of the Behaviour and Mechanisms of Bone Pain in a Mouse Model of Fibrous Dysplasia” and “Exploring a Novel Dual Amylin and Calcitonin Receptor Agonist as a Treatment of Painful Metabolic Osteoarthritis in a Rat Model”. 

Chelsea Hopkins, BonePainII PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, and Professor Jens Lykkesfeldt, Head of the In Vivo Pharmacology Programme at the Department of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Chelsea Hopkins received the prize for the best poster at the In Vivo Pharmacology Annual Meeting.
